The blessings I received as a young, black and extremely shy child has now given voice to my elder self. It was during my run from crowds and confrontations that I discovered I could easily hide within myself, which is where I first found my friend in Jesus. I pray that once my poetry, prayers and testimonies are heard they will then honor the friendship He and I continue to share.
